a candymaker
Art will never be fundamental for survival, in that sense I am a candymaker.
However I have witnessed in my own life that without the joys of connection, survival alone can be mental torture.
I came to artmaking through childhood desperation.
It all started with my need to be seen and appreciated for what I was, my values and my fears.
I believe in taking hard conversations and strive for my art to be catalyse this kind of dialogue.
I’m not here to serve empty calories, but to offer vivid experiences that are meant to be absorbed.
Artistic work that in some way or form fosters understanding, a proxy for connection.
This is the intention I have set for my professional life.
On a less metaphorical note, I have been working with digital art for now more than 10 years, continually building my aesthetic sensibilities, but perhaps moreso my techinical dicipline.
My focus now is to find projects that I wholeheartedly can pour my full capacity into.
For me a good collaborative enviroment is the peak of creativiety
And in between access to those projects, I create my own work or survive by other means.
