PERSONAL WORK

WYRD is the first VR piece that I have authored and built.
It is somewhere between a prophetic dream and a cursed video game.
It is a temporal collage that takes you to a place where everything is language.

ETERNAL GRAY is the first unity game that I have authored and programmed.

AR filter: H. C. Andersen festival | commissioned by Galleri Rasmus | Jul - Aug 2022
I brought to life an animation inspired by a sculpture crafted by the local artist Frank Fenriz.
When viewed through a phone camera, the animation creates the illusion of the physical statue coming to life.
This statue itself is a representation of the renowned H. C. Andersen's character, Klods Hans.

I created 3 instagram filters set in the same universe. One was a face filter, the remaining two were seamless looping 3D character animations.

Environment modeling & simulated destruction | Martyr | by MAKROPOL | Sep - Okt 2020
I built a skydome that mimicked the cracking of a colossal egg, accompanied by an animation of the fractured shells falling down.
Additionally, I crafted a digital replica of the screening location, which was the starting location inside the VR experience, blurring the lines between real and fake space.

An essential element to the project was an effect where the environment would disintegrate into a particle storm and re-emerge as a new environment.
For this end I created a custom tool in Houdini that made it possible to art direct triangle density balancing compute performance with artistic intent.
It also made it possible to weight paint disintegration strength.
In total I relit, retextured and remodeled all of the 15 environments. I also worked on all the object assets.

I spent a few days with the group brainstorming and building simple VR prototypes.
The aim was to explore the possibilities of using VR in the context of their 12 hour performance.

3D scan & mocap cleanup | canceled Scarlet Pleasure music video | by MAKROPOL | Apr 2019
Some 3D scans were full of artifacts. Floating geometry, texture glitches and noisy surfaces. Using Maya I cleaned it up. Texture fixes were done in Mari. I also retopologized assets for performance improvements & worked on animation.

Collaborative VJ-ing with Glowing Bulbs | for I Hate Models & TechnoKunst | Hungary | Dec 2018
I spent two weeks crafting diverse, rhythmical and visually captivating character animations. These creations were later employed as live visuals, where I applied effects, distortions, and seamlessly integrated them with animations crafted by fellow members of the Glowing Bulb team. Together, we presented this dynamic visual ensemble during a live music event called TechnoKunst.

I conducted weekly sessions for a group of youngsters ranging from 12 to 18 years old every Wednesday evening. The group size varied, ranging between 10 and 25 participants.
